There are few things more blissful than a night around the campfire with the right people. This is a song about the kind of friends that are always ready for an adventure – the kind that refuse to let you sit around and mope for too long, and who remind you of all the beauty and wonder this life has to offer. It’s a song about taking spontaneous road trips and finding your spark again in a world that so often tries to dim it -
a group of friends, parked outside another friends house, begging her to forget her worries and go with them.

One of the shorter tracks on the album, “Road Trip Begging” brings in Bad Knights’ sister-act of female vocalists, who lend a uke and some colour to this folk-rock classic. It tells the story a of rediscovering the fun, child-like part of yourself again, and refusing to let work, bills, and the pressures of everyday life, keep you from making grand memories.
